    Know mix is one of the specialties of east java and consisted of chewy beef soup, fried tofu, cassava cakes, fresh bean sports, fresh watercress, yellow noodles and prawn crackers
  10. BEEF BLACK SOUP
    A dark beef soup, served with mung bean sprout and ubiquitous sambal. The dark color comes from the kluwak (pangium edule nuts)
  11. RUJAK CINGUR
    Marinated cow snout or lips and nose (cingur), served with boiled begetables and shrimp cracker it is then dressed in a sauce made of caramelized fermented shrimp paste (Petis), peanut, chili and spices. It’s usually served with lontong, boiled rice cake. Rujak cingur is considered traditional food of Surabaya in East Java has a “meaty” taste.
  12. TAHU TEK
    The name tahu tek drives from the sound that the scissors make when cutting the ingredients into pieces even though the cutting is done but the scissors keep on cutting thus, it makes the sound.
